AT&T Fiber Construction

Published: February 01, 2023

In the upcoming days, AT&T will begin construction in the neighborhood laying and installing AT&T fiber. Please reach out to anyone below if you have any questions.

GRASS DAMAGE

All grass will be replaced in a timely manner. We will level all the ground around and water the grass when we replace it. We normally replace grass as we progress through the project bi-weekly and one final time at the end of the project to fix any small patches we may have missed. We will match the grass to what is on the ground at the time of the construction. After you see the grass replaced please remember to water it daily for the first couple of weeks while it grows.

SPRINKLERS

We routinely fix and check sprinklers. While sprinklers are the most common thing we break I assure you it was not intentional and we fix them after we break them. There will be times that we may not know we break them and in those cases please contact one of the above numbers and we will get the issue fixed ASAP.

PAINT ON GROUND

As we start the construction you will notice vehicles from the city of Frisco, USIC, and Heath Consultants driving around painting lines on the ground. These lines are required to be marked per Texas Law. These marks are water soluble and come off after a couple of rains. These paints are there to show us the existing utilities such as power, water, sewer, gas, and telecommunications. We will pick up ALL flags as we finish the work.

SAFETY

Safety is and always will be our primary concern. We will never leave things in unsafe conditions. While we will be digging holes we will not let these holes go unfenced and unattended. All holes will be backfilled in a timely manner and while they are not we will have them fixed. We will not be leaving holes open over the weekend.

WHAT WE DO?

We bore underground to pull the pipe in to protect the fiber from any damage in the future. We will dig holes in the ground and expose existing utilities while we work to ensure we do not cut them. In the end, all that will be left is a small green box that looks very similar to a sprinkler box. These boxes are to eliminate above-ground pedestals and will be flush with the ground allowing lawnmowers to be able to pass over with no damage to the box or mowers.

Please if anyone has questions or concerns contact one of the people mentioned above.
